Good Bye Lenin!
Hi everyone I'm going to tell you about a film that have made a left on me. This film is called "Good Bye Lenin!", the first time I've seen this film was about 5 years ago, and since that moment I started to be very curious about how was life in Germany at the Cold War, and if nowadays there are still cultural elements that separates the ancient East Germany from the ancient West. A few years ago there was a girl from Germany in the same class as me, she was from the East of Germany, so their parents and other family members experienced the Cold War. So I asked if she thinks that if exist some cultural differences between people from the East of Germany and people from the West, and she told me that people form the West of this country is less friendly and more cold form people of the West, and she told that If you visited some places of Berlin you can still notice the difference, and recognise rests from the past. Another thing that's caused me a lot of curiosity, was the fact that the main character has managed to convince her mother that they were still living in the East side of Germany. I loved how this character cared about every detail of her mother's old life still remained as before. This movie show us how people get used to some ways of life and if we change something it can affect us a lot. Another thing that leads me to think that movie is how people can manipulate us living a life, based just in reproduce the material context of a place.
The movie sounds very interesting... and anthropological in the sense social and cultural problem!
